Our role
Elastique. was asked to design and implement the entire new corporate identity for the precision engineering business from scratch.
Next to the corporate identity work, the Böhm-Stirling and Böhm-Präzision websites were drafted and designed.
The look of the existing online store also had to be adapted to the new identity.
During the production process, Elastique. was also responsible for designing and executing a corporate video and a light-hearted brand image video clip.
Challenge
In developing the design and the new creative approach it was extremely important not to lose sight of the emotional and light-hearted aspects of the products, in spite of a very high-quality and minimalist look.
Even in the case of high-tech products manufactured using the latest machine technology, man with his ideas and his creativity remains the central defining figure.
That’s what should be seen and felt.
Solution
Böhm is all about movement, from manufacture through to the finished product. The high-tech 3D Mazak milling machines work in a very aesthetic way, as if they had been choreographed. The smooth movement of the filigree elements in the finished product is fascinating.
The slogan “movement is everything” was developed by Elastique. and all design and creative ideas are aligned to this core slogan.

Elastique. launched a new corporate identity for Böhm Stirling-Technik, a manufacturer of filigree model Stirling engines. The priority was to design and create a new internet presence, as well as various corporate videos for the Böhm brand, its products and the high-tech manufacturing processes.
The result is a bold and unusual website, different from the industry norm and with a love of detail. With its clear, magazine-like look, razor-sharp product shots and slow-motion videos, it depicts the precision of the products and manufacturing techniques.
The slogan “movement is everything” is conveyed through the interplay between minimalist graphic imagery and the beautiful way energy is depicted. The elegant website is broken up in a delightful way by the addition of humorous creative elements. These convey the charm of the pre-industrial, steam-driven model engines, which are basically toys for grown-ups.
